The NYFDL is now affiliated to the football governing bodies in the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Bayelsa State, Edo State, Lagos State, Rivers State, Plateau State, Kano State, Oyo State, and Osun State. The inaugural season will be rolled out in these states in October 2025.
