particularly through initiatives aimed at doubling female participation, the NYFDL is setting a progressive example
The industry is changing at an alarming rate and if our football is to stay relevant to our youth, it must offer an opportunity that not only allow players to reach their potential within the game, but also that those involved in the game have the best possible experience whatever
their age, background, and ability. If we are to build lifelong involvement within football the key environment is the one provided
by our affiliated members and the people who make it happen at the grassroots, because they represent the key element of football especially at the youth level. We are positioning the league as a key component in the overall development of football in Nigeria and we will adhere to global best practices and regulations. I would like to acknowledge the support of the NFF, State FAs, NSSF and other stakeholders in driving football development at all levels.
